*For those taking French, you may take French as an elective (You are advised to acquire an alternate qualification in Chinese, for example, through the IGCSE, for the completion of the Senior Secondary studies.)
X includes the following subjects:
1. Economics; 2. Visual Arts; 3. ICT; 4. Design & Applied Technology; 5. Physical Education (PEED); 6. BAFS; 7. Geography; 8. Biology; 9. RS; 10. French
The maximum class size for each elective / option subject is 24 and the minimum class size is 5.
"Biology in X" and "Biology in B class" belong to the same class and the maximum class size should range between 5 and 20.
#Quota system introduced:
Biology - not more than 20
ICT: 8 or above
X: remainders of biology and ICT
Extended module of Maths: not exceed the class size of one class.
Boys who fail in Mathematics in G9 (whole year) can only take General Maths. (Core)
Boys in Streams E & F who intend to take an extended module in mathematics can only choose "Extended Module 1" |
