Emergency Appeal - Sichuan Earthquake

We mourn for those who perished in the earthquake. May the prayers and thoughts of us be with those who are suffering from the Sichuan tragedy.

Now, more than 240 thousands have been found injured and are desperate for water, food and medical support. However, severe damages in Sichuan have made these supplies very insufficient.

Your helping hand is of utmost importance in relieving the victims of this disaster, therefore, the School and the Student Council hope that all parents, teachers and students would make contribution by means of donations.

All donations received by the school will be sent to the Red Cross (Hong Kong). Cheques should be made payable to "Diocesan Boys' School", with the student's name, class, contact number and the statement "Donation for Sichuan" written at the back, and then be sent to "Financial Office, Diocesan Boys' School, 131 Argyle Street, Kowloon". Student Exchange Program - Munsang College

10 students from the Munsang College came to join our school family for 3 days, from 31st October to 2nd November. The Student Council was responsible for the reception of the exchange students. Through activities like after-school sharing sessions and campus tours, we believe that both the exchange students and our students have learnt more about the culture of the school of one another and the respective school life.

We also brought the Munsang Students to take a look at the preparation of various stalls for the coming Garden Fete. They are very impressed by our work. Finally, in the farewell session, they conclude that the atmosphere of freedom of our school is precious in that it creates a good environment for development and that they are very thankful for the kind reception from all of you.
