IBM Hong Kong's Partnership Program (June 1985)

DBS is catching up with computer education fast. March marked the beginning of a partnership program between IBM World Trade Corporation in Hong Kong and Diocesan Boys' School to create a model classroom for computer studies in a secondary school. (Click for more)

DBS uses a Personal Computer cluster network provided by IBM to enable students and teachers to share instruction programs and equipment. The networking software supporting the cluster was developed by the University of Waterloo in Canada. (Click for Original Scan)

JANET USERS IN HK (1987)

The Diocesan Boys' School was the first in Hong Kong to implement the IBM Model Classroom on March 8, 1985. (Click for more)
